A framework for house plants.
The ‘Framework' line of plant stands are designed to hold a standard potted plant in a variety of interesting and unexpected ways.
Minimal steel forms create a flexible framework for pots and plants — dozens of configurations can be created by flipping and experimenting with stacking pots and drip plates.
Originally inspired by a stack of pots used as a makeshift plant stand, Framework comes to life when they are used to create totem-like stacks of terra cotta. With a handful of pieces you can create and remix dozens of plant stand compositions.
Framework plant stands are visually akin to a tomato cage you'd find in the garden, but they're built like a bar stool you'd find in a contemporary cafe. Their robust welded-steel construction can handle medium-to-heavy house plants, keeping them stable and secure.
The Framework line is 100% made in Chicago. Thick steel wire is CNC-bent, sheet steel is laser cut, the stand is hand welded, and finally powder coated — all to create a durable stand that should last well beyond most of the objects in your life.
Framework Plant Stands are currently sold out with no plans for future production.
