Chris Ware’s “Monograph” is a fascinating peek inside the beguiling work of one of the most important cartoonists of this generation. At over 13x18 inches it’s also one of the biggest books you could have on your shelf as well. The size is justified by the chance to see Ware’s detailed art (and process) at at a larger-than-life scale. I’ve experienced nothing like this panoramic art book before—luckily Manual bookends are up to the task. Don’t hide your favorite art book covers—put them on display.
